I am sooo ready to loose some weight! I am on metformin but I have never seen a different in my weight even when I changed my diet and was exercising more often. Metformin, stress reduction practices, and low impact exercise 1-2 days a week really helped me. I lost 16lbs in 3 months. I did not change my diet but I noticed that I wanted to eat less carbs and refined sugars and more veggies and fresh fruit.
Look up Kym Campbells 30day PCOS diet. Her 30 day free meal plan starts in August, but you can get a free 3 day meal plan signing up for emails. It isn't for a quick fix though, it's a lifestyle change and a lot of giving things up. Sugar is poisonous to PCOS. Gluten is the same and dairy, yes.. even dairy. I miss cheese. It is a difficult road and it is unfair , I am still having a hard time with it. But I want to get better.
