Hello Everyone!
Has anyone else experienced prolonged bleeding while having PCOS?? I’ve had this “period” since December 2017 and was recently put on birth control to stop the bleeding due to becoming anemic. I’ve had a Pap smear and it came back “normal”. Is there something out there (besides birth control) I can take to stop this issue?
Thank you,
Monica
I bleed all the time. My previous d&c my doctor said that my uterine lining is not in sync. Can't take bc cause I tend to clot dvt and PE. No doctor has been able to tell me how I can get my lining… read more
Does birth control really help regulate periods? I know that it helps regulate the shedding of your lining, but how can it help regulate your ovulation? I've always been confused about this as birth control stops ovulation. If it's not going to help me much I'd like to just get off the pill and try other methods. Any advice or insight would be helpful!!
If you are not ovulating correctly and instead produce follicular cysts like I do, suppressing ovulation with birth control, helps clear up the existing cysts and reduce your chances of getting new… read more
I am going to take progesterone pills for 10 days to see if my cycle can regulate. I’m on the lowest dose.
Anyone else NEVER get a period?
I only do when I take Provera.
I have already tried Metformin, Vitex, weight loss, exercise, clean eating. Still have never had a cycle on my own.
I just started taking inositol, so I'll give that a shot for a few months to see if that helps at all. Any other ideas? Is there anything you have been able to do to naturally get a period?
I’m the same.,.I haven’t had a period in so long and I’m trying to regulate my hormones so I can get one..I know of a YouTuber who had pcos and she didn’t have her period for 6 years die to pcos

I am on progesterone pills and I’m still bleeding when I’m on the pill.
I have very course hair on my chin and neck area. It is light in color but I am self conscious about it. It grows back very quickly so I end up shaving everyday. However lately it has caused razor bumps/burn from doing it so frequently and for so long. I now have to shave and use makeup to cover the bumps and redness. I also can not use products like nair. I have sensitive skin and it burns when I apply it.
I’ve never been comfortable growing it out enough to wax as mine is really dark and thick, so I’ve mainly plucked (which takes ages!!) and had to do this a few times a week, I do shave my neck chin… read more
I’ve been feeling like I want to ask my doctor for a while, but I thought I’d ask her and see if anyone else has ever asked this question, but does anyone ever wonder if the hormone blockers that people use to transition from male to female whatever be an option for us with high testosterone levels, why don’t we have options like this?
Thats what i am saying. I have always thought about it and evey time i see a man looking and feeling more womanly than me it boils my blood. They even have programs and aid for trans conceive in… read more
My hormones are balanced but I still deal with hirsutism on a daily basis. So much so that I shave (my face) every day, if not twice a day.

Doctor says I need to lose a little weight. I’ve been dieting and going to the gym everyday this week... still have lost nothing. Instead I gained 2. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do to lose weight?
First off, it's only been a week. So don't fret. Water can play such a role in a couple pound difference throughout the week. Also, don't be focusing on the scale too much! If you are lifting at all… read more
