How To Keep Hydrated?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I seem to be struggling with keeping myself hydrated especially when I'm in work as I have no breaks due to my hours been short. I also struggle to drink water on a regular basis and it's casing me to have a lot of headaches. Does anyone have any tips on how I can keep hydrated?

I really recommend getting a large water bottle to keep on you all the time. I really like the ones with hourly goal increments but one large enough where you'll only need one entire bottles worth or two for your daily hydration goal. I use a slightly smaller one because I have some grip strength issues so a 32oz is the best for me to carry. But I have noticed when people carry or use a smaller vessel they consume less. Also, the first liquid you consume daily will be what your body craves the most, so ensure you're waking up and drinking 8oz of water before coffee or tea and you will naturally want more throughout your day. These are my best tips, oh and if you have an iPhone, theres a really cute app called Water Llama which is a fun way to track your hydration, plus it will nudge you if you've not logged any water every few hours. Hoping this is helpful

Shelby, those are really good ideas. When I first started drinking more water, I used some of those tips and it really helped.

Also, when I first started hydrating more, I missed the flavoring. I started using sliced lemon, berries, lime, or cucumber in the water. One set up was good for up to 3 rounds.

I hope that helps you too.
