Non-Insulin Resistant PCOS (Type 2/Inflammatory)
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

Anyone know what treatments are used for this type of PCOS? I've been doing research but all of the treatments they've suggested (Metformin, BC pills, etc) are for Insulin Resistant/Type 1.

Anyone here have Type 2?

Up until 2021 I did't have IR and I've been living with PCOS since 1985 - Wasn't actually offered any treatments for the PCOS by anyone, my old OBGYN said unless I was experiencing issues that needed treatment she preferred that I just keep up with my regular working out and healthy eating.
But I have also been living with Hypoglycaemia since 1979 so I've always been insulin sensitive, up until very recently.
