What Treatments Are There To Help With Weight
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I struggle with my weight so badly. It's frustrating I eat small portions, exercise, and eat mostly non- processed food, I don't know what else to do I lost a bunch and then gained it all back and then some and I didn't do anything differently. I've also had 6 miscarriages. I'm so frustrated with my body and even with antidepressants I feel suicidal. People are so mean to me because of my weight and try as I might I just keep going up. I was on metformin and it made my depression and anxiety go… read more

Does Anyone Experience Extreme Bouts Of Bloating When They Eat?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I seem to bloat up after eating. It doesn't always happends, but it seems to appear when I'm more stressed out. It can get quite intense... I can lose up to one pant size in 24h and then gain it back in a couple days time. I tried keeping a food vs bloating journal, but it just happens whenever. I even started recording the days event to try figure what was going on, bUT still no clue... I was wondering if it happened to anyone else, and what they had done to deal with this, as I am getting… read more

Has Anyone Ever Got Their Period Back?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I used to have semi-regular periods every 4-6 weeks. Took Nexplanon, gained 60 pounds in a year, and didn't get but one period while I was on it. Now no period in over a year and a half since I had Nexplanon taken out. Diagnosed with PCOS when I went to the OBGYN trying to get my period back to have babies. No success yet, trying vitamins and supplements. Has anyone gotten their cycle back after weight loss or procedures or taking supplements? I know there are success stories with having babies… read more

Wegovy Or Ozempic?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

Hi, is anyone taking either of these for weight loss? My doctor wants to get me down in weight as I am obese now. At least 50lbs by next year. She suggested wegovy. I am waiting to decide to go on this until I see an endocronologist again. I am 45 right now and all methods of weight loss have been harder than before. I had a baby at 41. I started taking a low dose of inositol for the insulin resistance and have cut back on eating and watching the carbs and haven't lost anything. However… read more
