Does A Clot Mean That A Cyst Has Appeared Or Not?

hi ladies,
when I went to the loo earlier, I heard a clot that had come out of me and landed in the toilet.
I was wondering if it could mean that either I've already got an ovarian cyst or if another one is starting to appear.
I have also noticed that my periods have gone back to being really heavy and painful again like they were before my laparoscopic cystectomy just over 2 years ago.

I’m not sure. But from what my mom tells me it means the blood will slow down.
