Has anyone else experienced prolonged bleeding while having PCOS?? I’ve had this “period” since December 2017 and was recently put on birth control to stop the bleeding due to becoming anemic. I’ve had a Pap smear and it came back “normal”. Is there something out there (besides birth control) I can take to stop this issue?
My situation might be different. I started treating myself with supplements and I had my period almost normal until I got the Covid vaccine. Now it seems like I bleed for prolonged periods and I get… read more
So I was just diagnosed with PCOS on my birthday March 30th. Today I had my follow up appointment and was basically told I'm fat and need to loose weight. I haven't been given any medication to help with my symptoms and was referred to a specialist. I have always struggled with diets and exercising. Has anyone found something they liked to help them lose weight that might help me?
My older sister also has PCOS and has been taking Metformin. She says it works and has been helping her with symptoms including losing weight. Any more recommendations? Tips/advice? Other alternatives?

Sometimes so severe that I will have distorted vision or no vision in one eye usually for a few hours. I don’t know how much longer I can keep up with life while dealing with this fatigue. I welcome any suggestions.
Wow! I am so glad to see I am not losing my mind concerning the fatigue. I have paid much to find out why I'm so fatigued. Sleep is the best medicine so far. From what I'm reading, maybe we need a… read more
