I lost good weight about 8 years ago or so on sticking to 50-75 carbs a day. High protein about 100 or more grams a day and 80-90 grams good fats. Well, few years later I got pregnant at 40! Gained 50-60lbs during pregnancy, never lost it. And I learned I gained 12 more pounds ugh! So I decided to go low carb again and already feel the insulin resistance kicking in. Honestly the pill was the only thing that helped with my cramps and the heaviness but every woman’s body is different I hate to say this but it takes about 2 periods to really start working
Yesterday i discovered that my toenails are doing some weird thing. The new part of the nail is very hard, has ridges and is higher than the rest of the nail. I read it could have multiple things it could come from, like thyroid, diabetes and a heartattack. As those sometimes come in pcos, not the heartattack, but you know blood pressure from stress and all. Pictue is in the next bit, so i dont shock people.
