Hi. I am writing to ask you what you think about this situation. My daughter is 22 and used to get her period, but was irregular. All of a sudden she stopped getting it for months, was on birth control but hated the side effects so I took her to an endocrinologist who felt she had PCOS based on all the blood workup that was done. She put her on Metformin and my daughter started to get her period again but then it stopped. Right now her metabolism is good, her testosterone levels are good… read more
I just came upon this amazing resource and couldn't be happier! My 19 year old daughter has PCOS and we are in the approval/preliminary stages for bariatric sleeve surgery. She is and has just suffered in silence emotionally and physically, as I do for her. Is there anyone here that can give me some guidance and knowledge from personal experience, as a mother and/or a teen girl, to help me help my daughter, want to take part in and receive information and support in… read more
I am a 35 years woman diagnosed with PCOS in 2006. I have been trying to conceive since 5 years and have been on and off meds like clomid, letrozole which have helped me ovulate but not conceive. Today is a rough day. I have been fighting bleeding for the last month and a half. Here's the kicker, I had an IUD since last June and recently had it removed due to the amount of bleeding I was seeing. I went right into the neuva ring and am still having quite a bit of bleeding.
Anyone else experience this?
What did you do?
Keep your heads up ladies!
It seems to hurt when I’m lying down or turn a certain way. Could this be because of an awkwardly positioned cyst?
I have been constantly bleeding since the end of march, I lost my job shortly before I started bleeding and I havent gotten insurance yet with my new job. It has started to get heavy the last couple days and I'm just considering a hysterectomy. Has anyone been dealing with this? What have you been doing to help?
I would like to incorporate portion control into my life but I don't know how to start. Does anyone have any ideas on food portion control? Should I buy smaller plates?
Looking for anything that’ll help with weight loss. Also something that doesn’t cost a lot.
Wondering if anyone has tried Noom for their PCOS and had any luck?
I just feel so low all the time and I don't think anybody understands me
