Mine are just simmering down. My mom got me one of those Blissy silk pillowcases for xmas...and it helps a lot, but holy cow have they been bad this time. Weather changes seems to amp them up too.

What Would The Consequences Be...

What Would The Consequences Be...

I have a question...if i can ask....so with pcos, some women it could take months before they realize they are pregnant...in this case, what would the consequences be with insurance and financially if they started everything much later in the pregnancy? So would your insurance still cover like normally

A myPCOSteam Member said:

Insurance is such a nuanced thing. But you do raise a great point on why pcos women should still pregnancy test regularly, even if its really hard...just incase. Im sure some women might view it… read more

Intimate Question!!

Intimate Question!!

Simple question, and please be honest!
Do you, as women with PCOS, reach the satisfaction point very easy and in short time, while making love with your husband/partner?

In my case, it's almost impossible, and that disappointed me in so many ways..😔
I don't wish to use any object and I'll never do that. My husband is a normal healthy man who loves me, and trying so hard to please me, I love him more than anything, I just wish my sex life is complete!!

doesn't take long for my mate to make sure my needs are taken care of if I am in the mood, if not in the mood then we skip my end of the deal and just focus on them instead.

Non-Insulin Resistant PCOS (Type 2/Inflammatory)

Anyone know what treatments are used for this type of PCOS? I've been doing research but all of the treatments they've suggested (Metformin, BC pills, etc) are for Insulin Resistant/Type 1.

Anyone here have Type 2?

Relationship Question

Relationship Question

So me and my Boeing moved into this house 4 months ago, our first time on our own paying bills ect. We’ve been so stressed out over multiple things, and they were all resolved. Now having a baby is the only stressor but we got good news that the progesterone Challenge was positive and we just need to take the medication to ovulate and we can have kids, but we can’t stop arguing still. Every single day we argue more than we don’t, and it really hurts because we’re both good people and we both… read more

Has Anyone Been Successful With Regrowing Scalp Hair?

What product did you use? (That helped the most) and if it was by mouth, did it affect growth of other body hairs?

Have you tried taking aldactone and the birth control pill? Both will help with hairless but it will take a few months to work

Stupid Question

Stupid Question

Is this bad for us? Pieces of baguette, on both sides a bit of sunflower or olive oil, baled in the oven till crispy, a bit of garlic rubbed at the top side, topped with pieces of tomato with olive oil, salt and pepper? It is delicious, but i wonder if its okay for us

A myPCOSteam Member said:

Depends what type of oils sunflower, canola and olive oil also coconut oil is healthy. Peanut oil is healthiest of all to fry with and coconut to cook with.

What Is The Increased Percentage Of Twins?

Hi I’m Brooke ! I’m new here, I’m 25 I was diagnosed with pcos two days ago, although I haven’t had a period without birth control for well over 6-7 years. I got off some medication for a mental health issues I was diagnosed with a few months ago and I am down 32 pounds, and counting so I’m hoping I will be able to reverse this. However, my doctor just started me on the 10 day progesterone to see if she can bring down a period and help me ovulate, she said my fsh levels are 19.9 from the build… read more

Since PCOS is an endocrine disorder there is no reversing it or cure for it -there is just treatment and learning to live with it as best possible.
