Hey Girlies, Have Any Of You Been Prescribed Metformin? If So Has It Helped Your PCOS Or Did It Stay The Same?
My OB/GYN prescribed me metformin and I'm scared to take it cause it's side effect is stomach aches, vitamin B12 Deficiency, if taken for long periods of time.

Does Anyone Else Have Extremely LOW Cortisone/cortisol Levels? Or Know Anyone That Does And How To Help It?
I have more tests to be done (like 24hr urine test for cortisol) because my first urine test came back with almost nothing as far as a cortisone and cortisol curve…worried I might have Addisons or some kind of adrenal insufficiency that could require supplementation with steroids :( I’d love to hear if anyone has any advice or experience with this! Does Anyone Else Suffer From Horrible Gut Dysbiosis As A Result Of PCOS Or Other Related Condition?
My recent GI stool test showed that I have some severe “inflammatory associated dysbiosis” pretty much meaning…the bacteria in my GI tract is severely imbalanced…I take probiotics daily, eat EXTREMELY healthy (doctors literally say “idk how to tell you to eat any better than you already do” 🙄) I took a week of antibiotics to help target the overpopulated “bad” bacteria in my gut and have continued taking very strong probiotics, etc however I am still severely struggling…luckily I was able to see… read more

Who Else Has PCOS D With No Insulin Resistance?
I was diagnosed with PCOS type A in Jan 2024 but after redoing labs in May, I have no insulin issues. I never have in the past either and I've had labs done consistently over the last couple of years. I have cysts in my ovary (I only have one). We have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years. Me too! My biggest symptom is honestly the cysts on my ovaries and then I deal with a lot of GI issues (I think some related to pcos some not?) so my doctor I also did the Genova GI test in addition… read more
