I Haven't Gotten My Period On My Own In Years But I Just Spotted For 4 Days?!

I Haven't Gotten My Period On My Own In Years But I Just Spotted For 4 Days?!

So, i have PCOS, diagnosed 5-6 years ago. I don't get periods regularly, and they have been brought on only when i use birth control, or do the fertility treatment with progesterone and clomid. I recently stopped to concentrate on getting better from my mental health disorder ( it is a one year program) so i decided to get on birth control. This was FIVE months ago. I used birth control the first month, stopped it and got my period as expected. i then stopped using the patch because i have… read more

Yes! That's the best thing you can do. Some say see an OB for PCOS others say see an Endocrinologist. I see both.dont be afraid to ask what you want its your treatment🙂

Birth Control Suggestions

Birth Control Suggestions

Over the past year or so, I've been spotting nonstop when I'm not full-on having Aunt Flo visiting
One doctor suggested taking 4 ibuprofen 3 times a day. I tried that and it didn't long-term help.
My doctor and I tried adding a mixed hormone pill on top of my implant. It worked but only for a month.

I took a break before going back. They gave me a different estrogen-having pill that my body did not react well to. 2/3 through the pack I had extremely depressive thoughts. I stopped taking them.

I have not.

I got my birth control implant out and I finally stopped bleeding just recently.

My only concern is if I change to an IUD. Will I start bleeding again?

Ovary Pain

Ovary Pain

Hello everyone.
I have been having ovary pain for the past 4 to 5 days. It is not ovulation because i had ovulation pain on 11/8. Honestly, I thought it was possibly pregnancy at first so waited to see if my period would come and it did not. I took a pregnancy test this morning which was negative. Also, I have a severe migraine and extremely nauseous. I have had an increase of headaches over the past week or 2. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this with a possible cyst.

I did end up having a 3 cm complex cyst in my left ovary. The doctor didn't know why I was in pain since it was so small. I am wondering if it ruptured when I was in a lot of pain over that weekend.

Husband Told Me - He’s Unattracted To Me

Husband Told Me - He’s Unattracted To Me

About 6 weeks ago, my husband told me that hes no longer attracted to me and he knows I was just diagnosed with pcos and have gained weight. I weigh 153 right now and am 4”11, 30 years old, have 2 kiddos.

We have been together 14 years and since he has told me this, I feel very upset, sad, confused, and lost. I asked him over and over when did he start feeling this way.

To add onto that , he wants to have sex and wants me to do sexual favors (sorry tmi : blowjobs) and I don’t want to. Not… read more

Does Anyone Else Get Really Paranoid When It's That Time Of The Month?

Does Anyone Else Get Really Paranoid When It's That Time Of The Month?

Every time my af appears, I refuse to go out as I can have really bad heavy periods which cause me to leak/flood everywhere
I don't mind (but I still feel really embarrassed when it does happen) if I flood and I'm at home as I know that I only have a short walk to the bathroom and my fiance will bring me a change of nightwear and knickers and then whilst I am sorting myself out he'll go and see if I have caught anything when I've stood up
I hate going out when I'm on my af as I get really… read more

Any Recommendations For Fertility Specialists In The Philadelphia Area?

Any Recommendations For Fertility Specialists In The Philadelphia Area?

My partner and I are currently TTC and started our first round of fertility treatment, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful. I know patience is key, but going through something like this isn't easy. I'm looking for a provider and team who are compassionate, sensitive, and patient-centered.

Has Anyone Ever Had An Awful Smell Coming From Their Private Parts?

Has Anyone Ever Had An Awful Smell Coming From Their Private Parts?

I've had one that started a couple of days ago and I'm not sure if it's to do with my diabetes or if it's something more serious.
I'm too nervous to contact my doctors about it.

Experiences With Tranexamic Acid Or Norethisterone?

Experiences With Tranexamic Acid Or Norethisterone?

Hello all, I have recently been diagnosed with pcos and struggling with my period this month. I was wondering how others have felt on medicines to help with bleeding? My flown itself isn't too heavy but I struggle with large clots, does TXA help lessen these or make them worse?

This website has been great for information following a new diagnosis ❤️

The only thing that worked for me with the bleeding was an IUD.
