I bleed 24/7 for close to 5 years nothing my OBGYN did stopped the bleeding, slowed it down yes but not stopped it, not a DnC nor a Endromerial Ablation (only made it worse) in the end a Hysterectomy was the solution to stop the 24/7 bleeding and cramps from hockey stick that had no rhyme nor reason to it (no cause for it could ever be found other then my body wouldn't build up the lining thus kept shedding it - nothing that was tried could make my body start to build lining either.

I have been bleeding with fluctuating flow for last month! Honestly sick of it. I see I’m starting to get a bit of a moustache too.... more recently I have also noticed more pimples on my arms and face. I’m not painting a very attractive picture of myself! I have no pain but I hate this bleeding. Sometimes it can be heavy and other times it’s not heavy at all. Truly has me beside myself! I am 41 and was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 38. Before I had infrequent periods but when they came, they were HEAVY! I should have invested in sanitary napkin companies! I have just recently switched to organic foods, laid off the caffeine, and watch what I eat. Not to mention, I also have hypothyroidism... so I am not sure which one is causing the distasteful flow that seems to not be going anywhere anytime soon... but I would take any advice. I have an endo appointment later this month too...

ugh I go through the same thing and I've tried everything, changing my diet, birth control, metformin, D&C. No doctor can give me a straight answer. There has to be something! :(

I had a d&c and then a Mirena IUD inserted. It took 6 months of whacky bleeding, but now nothing a year later. Love not having my period any more.
