I'm on spironolactone right now. I believe its the generic. I've been on it for two in a half months and its slowing down the growth of my excess hairs. They seem to be getting thinner too. Its also helped me with an sodium issue I have. So I'm really liking it.

Aldactone can be effective, but it's a really slow process. I had to stop because I was trying to get pregnant, and was told would be a problem if I conceived a male child.

Can you take that if your trying to get pregnant?
