My doctor wont give me anything for my PCOS as im over weight. my wife and i are trying to fall pregnant (im the one who is trying to conceive as she doesn't want to carry) Can i buy anything online that has worked for anyone?
I started taking Ovasitol about a month and a half ago and really started noticing a difference in my cravings and overall feeling. I've started losing weight again, although I'm sure getting back to school has helped with that too. Since my husband and I are so busy during the week we started cooking all our lunches and dinners for the upcoming week on Sunday. This has helped us meal plan and we are "stuck" with healthier items at the end of the day when we don't feel like cooking. It really takes all the work out of the work week and makes good choices a no-brainer. We also cut out all pop and pretty rarely eat anything with added sugar. When we do eat sweets, it's home made, so we pretty much know exactly what's in it. Start with small changes, don't do everything at once.
Hi :) Ive been using myo-inositol as we do not get Ovasitol in South Africa. And it really did help my sugar craving, mood swings and blood sugar levels. I drink in in the powder form so it was easy for me to customize the dosage that worked for me. With it I supplement with a omega 3 and folic acid. I have used chasteberry before too and found it helped with my skin etc, but have not continued using it really, so cant say for sure if it helps with period.
I would suggest finding a new dr.
I'm just starting to try all the diet suggestions I've seen. So far I've cut back drastically on soda. It's been hard! I'm cutting back on sweets but I'm addicted to cheese and potatoes. I was having lots of pains around my pelvis but those have pretty much gone away. I'm hoping the change in diet is why, as well as hoping a period will come.
