My gyne gave me the option of having surgery to remove part of left fallopian. This is the side that is extremely painful ( large cysts develop) during ovulation. At last ultrasound tube was bigger then it should be. Just curious if anyone has had this done and their experience with it. π
I've had a laparoscopic cystectomy in February 2022 to remove an 11cm ovarian cyst from my right ovary.
I sometimes think that my ovaries and fallopian tubes are on the wrong sides as my left ovary is fine, but the tube is knackered, but it's the opposite way round on my right side as the fallopian tube is fine, but the ovary is knackered.
Oh wow. Glad it went well. My gyne said he will not take any ovaries but some of fallopian tube should come out. Im hopeful my experience will be a positive one. Im tired of the pain during ovulation on that side and the imbalance of hormones that the cysts are causing. The cysts seem to go away after ovulation but on ultrasound which have been done at ovulation time they have been as big at 5 and 7 cms. Thanks for sharing your experience π
Hi hun, I had a laparoscopy three weeks ago to remove 4 large growths on my left ovary and I was petrified,my gynaecologist told me I would probably loose my ovary as it was bulky and may have scar tissue on, I came out of surgery 3hrs later feeling like a new woman. It has to be the best thing that's ever happened to me the surgeon also managed to save my ovary all I have now is 4 tiny cuts. The pain after can be a little intense and you can get shoulder tip pain from where they fill you with gas but it's the best thing that my Dr has ever sent me threw xx
