Anyone Else With Crazy Irregular Periods?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I am currently taking 2 birth control pills a day to control my bleeding and currently bleeding on this. We are wanting to start TTC but I have no idea how this will even be possible when I am bleeding while taking the birth control so what will happen once I stop it. Feeling lost and worried.

I too recently had this happen to me. I have had it happen before as well. The first time I was given birth control pills, they help stop the bleeding. the following times I would just it it run its course since I don't get my cycle every month I knew there was a lot. I had a surgery last year to help to help with the bleeding and pain, it help out a lot but I found myself getting a long cycle at the end of November until recently, had exams and biopsy done just to make sure that nothing else was going on they gave me provera to stop the bleeding, although it did not stop the bleeding it help reduce the amount I was bleeding because it was getting ridiculously heavy. It recently resolved on its own a few days ago and now I will be going to the doctor to get my blood drawn and get some labs and see how this has affected me.
