Whats the best PCOS diet for someone that does have the insulin resistance? One I can convert into a lifestyle.
I have currently started the Beachbody (a.k.a. 21 day fix) diet and exercise program. I have lost weight on it (13 lbs) so far. You can look it up online. There is a ton of information on it. You measure food out in containers for portion size. You can eat fruits, vegetables, proteins, carbs, healthy fats, and salad dressings. I like it because it cuts out processed foods and processed sugars. You can still eat many of your favorite foods. It just helps you with portion size, and I have felt like it helps me keep my blood sugar stabilized. I eat 5-6 times a day.
I have heard that too,but cutting back on dairy and eat salads, drink water and for breakfast special k and low fat or 2% milk worked better for me.
I have heard that the SouthBeach diet is one of the best for PCOS!
