I've been usin Nioxin for the past 2 months and haven't really noticed any difference. I maybe have some new growth, but I feel like with the shampoo, conditioner, and leave in scalp spray all vigorously att king my scalp that I might actually be losing more strands than normal.

I've also been trying jojoba oil on my scalp but I havent been using it regularly enough to notice a difference. In the past though. I've noticed that castor oil helps with new growth. It's just more difficult to apply than jojoba oil.

When I talked to my doctor about hair loss, she said I will get lots of hair growth when I get pregnant. That was frustrating because she knows we've been trying to start a family for over a year.

Idlove to hear from more people about what's worked for you!

I'm not sure how helpful it will be but last year my husband found about a quarter size bald spot on the back of my head. I went to the dermatologist and they said it was alopecia. He prescribed hydrocortisone cream. That wasn't really working for me. I did some research and found that rosemary oil was supposed to help so I tried that out as well. It worked out really well for me. My spot isn't completely gone but it's about the size of a perler bead now. It's relatively inexpensive. The only down side is that it has a really strong aroma.
