Just found out few weeks ago that the reason why i been having trouble getting pregnant. PCOS. My doctor has me on metformin. And im dieting. What else has helped.?
I would be kinda scared to use anything I bought in Mexico. The Clomid itself isn't what's so expensive here, it's all the doctor's visits and ultrasounds you have to have with it. :/
I've been on metformin since May 2017 when I was diagnosed with PCOS. All it has done for me is give me periods. I was told by my ob that it would regulate my periods. They're still all out of wack but I am getting them now. I recently went to Mexico and purchased Clomid. I took it when I got my period this month. So now on to ovulation kits and see if it's helping.
Metformin has done jack for me as far as conception goes. It has helped me keep my weight mostly stable (except when some other medication f*cks it up, ugh), but I still don't think I'm ovulating. Another thing it has done, however, is keep me from developing type II diabetes, which alot of PCOS women end up with. I'm TTC as well, and getting desperate enough to maybe try Clomid, but it's expensive and isn't guaranteed to work with PCOS.
Im sorry for your loss. I lost a baby 8 yrs ago. My husband and i been trying to conceive for 5 years now through trying to find out howcome i wasnt that i found out i had pcos. Im 30 now constantly feeling like there a clock ticking down behind me.
I did keto for about 7 months and got pregnant after 7+ years of trying. It was the first time I got pregnant. I did lose the baby but im hoping to get back to keto to help.
