Let me clarify a bit -- I've had light, light, light spotting yesterday and today. so light in fact, i thought i might have just nicked myself while shaving (but i haven't shaved in over a month). But the blood is as light in color as that. I don't want to think its actual spotting, but it is coming from where its supposed to, the color just reminds me more of a cut than menstrual spotting.

I often have spotting just like you've described for sometimes upto 4 or 5 days in between my periods (when I shouldn't be bleeding at all) ive asked my dr about it so many times but she doesnt have an answer. She says it's normal to have spotting of brownish colour blood when you're not on your period because that can be old blood that jist didn't fully come away previously but when I say it's fresh blood spotting she's baffled! not very helpful I know but just thought I'd let you know you're not the only one!

I just went to the Dr. because I saw some strange discharge in the toilet but, no period B4 or after. His answer was that women with PCOS can sometimes have very small periods and that could've been what I experienced. I think the doctors are just giving me whatever bs to shut me off. Hopefully you have a great doctor with a better answer.
