33 Days (and Counting)
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I got my first Depo shot over three months ago; I just got my second shot today. Meanwhile, this is the 33rd consecutive day that I've had my period. I don't know if I can continue with the shot if this carries on or happens at the end of this round too. Has anyone else experienced this?? Is it just a one-time uterine lining liquidation sale or is it recurrent?

I used to be on it and it was horrible for me. I bled constantly and I gained a lot of weight as did my cousin who doesn't have PCOS. It just made it that much easier for me to gain and harder to lose. I really believe this is where it all started for me. I would talk to your doctor about options. I haven't ever heard good things about depo.
