I agree it was horrible. I am convinced that it brought on my PCOS. I blew up and felr swollen all the time. I looked like a different person when I was on it.

I used the depo shot in my early 20’s. I was on it for about a year and a half. It was horrible. I’d never recommend it to anyone. Shortly after coming off of Depo I was diagnosed with PCOS.

i was on depo-provera for 5 years until September 2017 and was diagnosed with PCOS this month. I had no idea there was a correlation, very interesting indeed

I was on Depo from 2012 until 2014.. but I had irregular periods since I started getting periods it was a on and off thing... I didn’t get diagnosed until 2017 when I started getting cyst on my ovaries then my doctor did blood work and everything. But I do believe depo makes it even worse I never had cyst until after depo.

I was on the Depo shot from January 2014 to May 2016 and did not like it. I switched right away to the pill, which I stopped taking in February 2018. I was diagnosed with PCOS in August 2018. Very interesting about the correlation.
