I have had my cycle for a month now. I went to my gyno and the first thing she tried to give me was bc😒. I declined and she did some blood work and ultrasound and everything came back normal. They are going to do a d&c if it doesn't stop. They gave me Tranexamic acid but honestly I have terrified to take it because of the possible side effect. My period has definitely not been light i have to wear a 10hr pad all day and night it is horrible but i know its not as heavy as my last one just crazy long so I want to give it another week or so before i try any meds. I had low energy after the 1st week but started taking liquid geritol with a glass of orange juice in the am and a iron pill with a chewable vitamin c at night and that has helped me feel 100x better. Taking Advil has also helped with the amount of bleeding I have been taking 1 200mg pill 3x a day for the past 2 days and a salty beverge once a day like a v8 or bouillon cube in water and I can really tell a difference it is getting a tad lighter 😊

I had this happen for 2 months was so heavy I ended up in the ER. You may not want the pills but for me progesterone took a bit to work but did stop the bleeding eventually.

I had 3 year long bleeding with a little easing up periods. Best thing to do is get on birth control

My gyno wants me to try Mirena IUD to help stop the bleeding. I'm terrified but at this point doing to try it, cause birth control pills aren't helping at all.
