Hi Everyone,

i'm 23 years old and I have just this morning been diagnosed with PCOS. I'm a little worried about having children, I'm not ready yet but I am worried I might struggle, I've always wanted to be a mum and it would be… read more

Hi! Welcome! I get lightheaded and dizzy when my blood sugar is low - which would happen sometimes when I was not managing my nutrition and my blood sugar would spike and plummet. I too was worried about not being able to have children but I've taken the one day at a time approach and tried not to worry about anything I dont have control over - I remind myself that "Worrying is sitting in a rocking chair - its something to do but wont get you anywhere" So I do what I can today to make sure I'm healthier tomorrow and in the best shape to set myself up to conceive when we're ready. It's hard but we're all here for you!!!

I'm sorry to hear about that. If you're bleeding alot during your period, that could cause the dizziness too

Thank you for responding!! It’s just a weird process really, I keep getting things where I’m like is that the PCOS or am I just I’ll or is something else wrong? I’ve been trying to stick to a mainly healthy diet and that seems to be keeping my periods in check. I suppose whatever the future holds will be so I just have to do my best to manage it in the meantime
