I try to remind myself that I know I'm not crazy in what I am feeling from my body. It is a reflection on their lack of empathy to dismiss any sort of feeling towards something they cannot experience. This is a hard, and very individualistic, disorder and that can make it hard to relate to even other people with the diagnosis. The best advice I can give is to trust your gut and what your body is communicating to you. If this is about a provider definitely search for a new one if you are able.
First of all — that exhaustion is real, and it makes complete sense. Being newly diagnosed and trying to figure out a moving target like PCOS is genuinely hard work. The hormonal shifts that come with PCOS can directly affect mood, so those "walls" aren't just in your head — they're physiological.
