My obgyn prescribed me on the metformin. It wasn’t to hard to get actually. Plus this obgyn is actually monitoring me on it which is really nice.

The only way I have ever been able to lose weight is by taking metformin. I have been working out since July 2017 and I gained 20 pounds since joining the gym. Now that I’m on the metformin my periods are staring to become regular, and I’ve lost 12 pounds. I’ve only been on it 2.5 months now. I would talk to an obgyn about your pcos.

There's something called Pregnitude that they sell at any CVS, Walgreens, etc. You can buy it online but it's said to work better than Metformin if you take it for about 3 months. It's packets that you put into your drink morning and evening and it helps with ovulation and such. You should look into it! I stopped taking it after a month because I am horrible at trying to keep any kind of a schedule when it comes to medication.
