I have pcos and in june i had my first misscarriage and i havent had a period since my gp said my body will deal with it and restart in its own time but its january 2019 thats 7 months please help me i dont know what to do im on metformin but it isnt helping me

So sorry you are dealing with this. If it was me, I would talk to a different doctor if possible. Especially if you aren't getting the help and answers you need from your current gp. Good luck and hang in there.

Hi! I took meformin before and I hear it does do wonders for us, but if anyone wants to try it just be careful. When I was trying to take the medicine it knocked me out. Every time I took the pill I got dizzy and felt like I was going to faint. Other people have said it's part of the side effects, but my doctor never told me that until I went to him and told him what happened. Just be careful on it and make sure these side effects don't happen to you. It doesn't happen to everyone, but it can happen.

My doctor had me on both metformin 2000mg daily and birth control for 6 months to control my insulin levels and help me ovulate regularly before I was able to try and get pregnant.

My doctor just wanted to increase my metformin, but I'm at the highest of 1000mg daily. So they will have to find another way to go.
