Any Advice On Dealing With Dark Underarms?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I've always be self conscious of my dark underarms. I wax them which helps with the darkness a little bit but not enough for me to feel completely comfortable wearing anything sleeveless. Any advice on how to lighten them? (preferably naturally)

You Will Need

A lemon

What You Have To Do

Cut the lemon into thick slices and scrub the underarms area with them for 2-3 minutes.
Let the lemon juice stay on there for about 10 minutes before rinsing it off.

You Will Need

2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons baking soda
What You Have To Do

To the baking soda, add the vinegar and let the mix bubble.
Once the bubbles have subsided, apply this mixture on the underarm area and let it dry.
Rinse with cool water.

I thougt it might have just been the brand so I’ve tried some others and the same brands with baking soda free version djdnt do it so I just attributed it to the baking soda but maybe thats not it.

Maybe it's the deodorant along with the baking soda causing this! xx

Baking soda does the opposite for me - if I use a natural deodorant with baking soda my underarms get super dark.
