Period?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

Ladies, what’s the longest you’ve had your period? Mine has been on for almost 5 months. Some days it’s heavy, others, not so much .. I even spot sometimes. It’s just really frustrating.

Currently going into month 6 of bleeding. Ultrasound showed a bunch of cyst clusters on both ovaries everything else is fine. Had a endometrial biopsy today to prepare to have endometrial ablation. I was prescribed norethridine 2 daily if light 4 if heavy or if i know im going to be more active than normal. Dr said mine is from hormones as well being that my uterus lining and cervix is thin, but they have not been able to regulate mine. I would suggest seeing a dr to try and get some relief.

8 months before getting back on BC because I couldn't take it any more. Sometimes the bleeding was so bad, I wear a diva cup and I was dumping it every 20 minutes! I hate the doctors the most, they act like it's no big deal 😔

6 months and that was years ago! I can’t really remember the flow but I eventually went to the hospital and was given a medication that made it stop!

Mine was four months pretty similar to your flow. Spotting most days but some were heavy. OB said it was due to hormones attempting to regulate and when they would align it would signal the bleeding. I would contact your doctor though there should be something they can do to help you.
