Histamine Intolerance
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

Have any of you heard of or deal with histamine intolerance? I keep feeling like my skin is freaking out, sneezing, sinus issues...my mom said it sounds like allergies, but ive done nothing different today. This happens every once in a while...started looking into it and pcos related issues and Histamine intolerance came up...makes sense...sucks, but makes sense

I kept thinking it was just because my work is surrounded by fields, but it happens any time of year and not when im in a specific location. Seems to get worse when i can feel my hormones doing something weird. Worst part is when my face and chest get itchy and i end up with little bumps...just kills the confidence

That's interesting. I haven't heard of that link before. I get allergy symptoms which seem to come and go (skin gets red and itchy, sneezing, blocked sinuses, itchy throat, watery eyes sometimes). I always considered it to be hayfever.
