Has Anyone Had Any Success Stories Or Personally Know Anyone That Has Successfully Conceived Having PCOS And Taking Clomid?

I am about to start my first round of Clomid to help me conceive. Researching and reading success rates for conceiving while prescribed Cloimd is a little scary. 10 to 20%. I just want to see some positivity to give me a little more hope then what I have right now.

Members shared encouraging stories about conceiving with Clomid despite PCOS, with several successfully getting pregnant on their first or early rounds, though some experienced challenging first trimesters due to low progesterone or side effects that made them discontinue treatment. Many members emphasized the critical importance of progesterone supplementation throughout the process, with one member explaining how low progesterone contributes to many PCOS challenges and should be standard treatment, along with testing for MTHFR gene mutations that affect how the body absorbs folate and B12. A recurring theme was the frustration of the trying-to-conceive journey, the need for knowledgeable doctors who stay current on PCOS research, and the encouragement to stay positive while advocating for comprehensive care that includes progesterone, adrenal support, and proper supplementation.

I wish I could give some positivity, but all I can say is don’t read anything about it, It will give you pre concieved ideas about something that works wonders for some and not work for others, everything starts in the mind so think good thoughts, and see how it goes! Wishing you all the best on your TTC Journey! ❤️

@A myPCOSteam Member I did purchace the proov blancing oil its progesteron. I am a little nervous about taking it. But something just told me to do it. I am going to attempt to try it this round. Im not due for my pdg blood work until August 2nd. I can not expain the frustration I have when my peroid comes. Thats one thing I am glad comes on a regular basis. I have had irregular periods since I was 16. 20 years later they just started coming every month like clock work. I didnt change anything.

It is weird how PCOS sufferers have low progesterone and doctors do not seem to prescribe it when they do it like only take this at this point... When we actually need it all the time!

@A myPCOSteam Member Thank you for the tips. I just started my 3rd round of Clomid i also just began Metformin 500mf 2x a day. I feel better on it too. I lost my one and only pregnacy in January do to incompitant cervix as well. Its been a struggle since. I am 100% sure i concieved him when I started hcg injections to lose weight. I knew there couls be a possiblity to getting pregnant but honestly didnt believe i woild happen to me. So here I am 5 months of trying and no luck. Had two months of just clomid alone, and im ovulating. Last month my CD21 was at a 15.93, but Im just not getting pregnant.
