There are 40 different types of birth control, it takes time to get the right one for you. If you do not need the birth control, some people do, there is a way of treating the hormones seperately which is much can be much easier on the body than birth control can. Your infection is likely due to your estrogen being out of balance, it does happen, talk to your doctor, if they return monthly at the same time every cycle it's your hormones causing it.
