Gastric and PCOS

Has anyone in here had gastric ? Did it work well with your PCOS. It's major surgery and I'm afraid because of PCOS it won't be successful. Any thoughts, advice or stories would be greatly apprecited

I have spoke with my dr and he flat out told me no. He sent me for blood work and said if I was diabetic or pre diabetic he would
Consider putting me on ozempic. I have a follow up with him tomorrow.
