Will My Facial Hair Growth Reduce From Weight Loss?
I have noticed that my facial hair grows back within the next day. Is this because of my weight gain and will it reduce when I lose weight? I can't even leave my house without having to shave as it's embarrassing.
Losing weight is one key, the other is vegetarian based diet. Positive is that with vegetarian diet it is much easier to manage the weight.
I believe so I noticed when I eat a certain way and don’t spike my insulin it doesn’t grow as fast or as much.
Weight definitely effects the amount of facial hair and all hirsutism-induced hair. But, seeing as how weight is one of our biggest struggles, this is hard to achieve. I’ve tried laser and electrolysis… both of which actually stimulated my hair growth! Which I didn’t find out was possible until after the fact.
Years ago I was prescribed Vaniqa, but it’s $200 a tube (a tiny tube)! I recently started looking into it again and found a generic brand made in India. (There are no generics in the US, due to patents I believe) This one is $32 per tube. I researched it a lot and read lots of reviews as I was a bit scared to order it. It is the same ingredient and ratio as Vaniqa and the company seemed legit. So I ordered it, and within a week I had significantly less facial hair growth. It’s been about 5 weeks now and I barely ever have to pluck (which I had to do daily) or wax. The hairs that are coming through are, I think, on the last cycle and once they’re gone, I’m hoping to not have to pluck ever again!!!
It sucks that the tube is so small and expensive (even at $32) and you have to put it on twice a day… and the worst part is if you ever stop using it, the hair will come right back! But at this point I was getting desperate and now that I see the results, I will just have to stock up and make it part of my daily life. The difference is that good!
Anyway, just wanted to share as I wish I had done this 20 years ago!
.. oh and I found another brand of it for $20, but still need to look into it.
