Has Anyone Experienced Hair Loss
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I noticed my hair has been thinning for the last few years but still manageable. Then I decided to stop the contraceptive pill because I’m 49 and thought my body should go through natural progression into menopause. Since stopping the pill I have lost a lot of hair and fear I will lose it all. I am thinking of going back on the Diane 35 contraceptive pill. I take iron, vitamin d, fish oil and hair and nail supplements

Yes, my hair is very thin now. I took Dianette for years but when I reached 35 I was told I was too old and fat to continue. I am now on the mini pill and my hair is so thin that you can see my scalp. I also take fish oil and hair, skin, nail vitamins. I've tried applying treatments to my scalp but no luck their. All I can say is your not alone.

Yeah! Your defiantly not alone suffering from pcos hair loss…I have to deal with hair loss, weight gain, and acne on a daily basis..it’s horrible sometimes I don’t want to be alive anymore because of dealing with pcos..I been suffering for so long with this problem and it’s been torture…I feel so ugly dealing with this syndrome and I don’t know if I will ever get my natural hormones back ever..I miss being normal
