This is the first time I've heard about Aldactone being an option for excess hair growth. Anyone have positive outcomes with this medication??

A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

Is anyone prescribed aldactone? Mine has a minty taste to it and the thought of it makes me sick to my stomach so im unable to take it!

A myPCOSteam Member

Mine also has a minty taste. Perhaps try taking it with something like orange juice, so it’ll most likely cancel any other flavors.

A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

What product did you use? (That helped the most) and if it was by mouth, did it affect growth of other body hairs?

A myPCOSteam Member

Have you tried taking aldactone and the birth control pill? Both will help with hairless but it will take a few months to work

A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

How much do you have to take to see improvement?
I am taking this medication, but still have major thick facial hairs along my jawline and neck (I have to shave daily - it's embarrassing!) and my acne is always acting up.

Yes, back in the day, it kinda worked for me, you must also have a good skin regimen. Drink lots of water and avoid salt. It also effects your potassium levels.
