Hi @A myPCOSteam Member, What was the name of the device at ULTA? The website blocked the link.
I was diagnosed with pcos many years ago... my I just recently had my first child he is now 4 months old. After he was born the ob placed me on the birth control pill. After being placed on it I have had horrible headaches! Has anyone else suffered headaches after being placed on birth control pills?
Has anyone else experienced prolonged bleeding while having PCOS?? I’ve had this “period” since December 2017 and was recently put on birth control to stop the bleeding due to becoming anemic. I’ve had a Pap smear and it came back “normal”. Is there something out there (besides birth control) I can take to stop this issue?
Take medroxy progesterone when you start bleeding. It helps me.
I just started the daily birth control pill today to try relieving my array of painful symptoms like cramps and pelvic pain with pressure and low back pain which is isolated to left side. I am looking for feedback on anyone’s personal experience with Slynd - Thank you
Honestly the pill was the only thing that helped with my cramps and the heaviness but every woman’s body is different I hate to say this but it takes about 2 periods to really start working
I recently started using Nuvaring and i have found that my emotions are all over the place. This os the first birth control i have used in about 15 years so i dont remember how i did the first time around. I have been way more sensitive and crying like crazy. It is driving me insane. Please advise...

I was diagnosed with PCOS and mild endometriosis in 2022. My periods have been irregular for a while now, I think it’s been around 3 months since my last period. However, for the last 4 weeks, I have spotted every day (red blood upon wiping, not enough to fill a pad) anyone else in a similar situation?
I am currently taking 2 birth control pills a day to control my bleeding and currently bleeding on this. We are wanting to start TTC but I have no idea how this will even be possible when I am bleeding while taking the birth control so what will happen once I stop it. Feeling lost and worried.
I too recently had this happen to me. I have had it happen before as well. The first time I was given birth control pills, they help stop the bleeding. the following times I would just it it run its… read more
Anyone else NEVER get a period?
I only do when I take Provera.
I just started taking inositol, so I'll give that a shot for a few months to see if that helps at all. Any other ideas? Is there anything you have been able to do to naturally get a period?
