I read that there are studies that have tried to link PCOS to Depo-Provera users. I took depo for 5 years in my 20’s. After seeing numerous drs and specialist I was diagnosed with PCOS at 35 (now 43). Just wondering how many of you also used depo.

Has anyone else experienced prolonged bleeding while having PCOS?? I’ve had this “period” since December 2017 and was recently put on birth control to stop the bleeding due to becoming anemic. I’ve had a Pap smear and it came back “normal”. Is there something out there (besides birth control) I can take to stop this issue?

Has anyone had a successful pregnancy after taking provera and clomid? I have an irregular cycle so my doctor prescribed provera(medroxyprogesterone) to start my cycle and Clomid(letrozole) to increase ovulation. He also has me taking prenatal vitamins. Has anyone ever had any luck after the first time?
Clomid is different then letrozole... both used to help with ovulation... i had 2 positive pregnancy tests using letrozole but it took min 3 cycles...i had 2 miscarriages and i am going through the… read more
Ive done really well in the past with weight loss. It’ll go really well for some time and then stop completely. I hate that PCOS had made me gaib abdominal weight and makes it harder to lose. Does anyone have any suggestions who is consistently losing weight?

my period started Nov 2 ended Nov 12 I started letrozole this cycle on Nov 4-8 I got a positive smiley face peak fertility reading on Nov 15 also LH reading 0.59 on 15th and 0.53 on the 16th so peak would've lasted 48hrs. I am thinking that I ovulated on the 17th or 18th not entirely sure. BD on Nov 12,14,15 and 16. My period was expected Dec 2/3 I have tested multiple times 11 dpo 14 dpo 16 dpo all negative. It helps you have a period, so yes if you ovulate like normal then it can help you get pregnant. If you arent ovulating though your gyn may put you on provera and clomid to increase your chances… read more
