Doctor Or NP

Hello, I have PCOS and I'm doing a research paper on PCOS for my English Class and was wondering if there's anyone on the medical staff that could answer some questions? I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 21 years old and I'm now 40 years old. It's hard to lose weight, become pregnant (given up on that), the missed periods, insulin resistance and my list go on. So when we were given the option to write a research paper on an issue that means the most to us, I picked PCOS. Not many people out… read more

My last period was May of 2018 and it was normal and lasted about 7-9 days or so and wast super heavy, just normal. However, this period IS SO HEAVY and I have been clotting a lot. Its to the point i cannot wear tampons because the clots stop from my flow and im having to change my Tampon almost… read more

I have had the same issues before in the past, I found it best to see my Primary, who was able to give me medication to slow the bleeding, and examine the clots in case something else was going on

Anyone Experience Lower Leg Pain And Edema? (pain In Arms And Back Aswell)

Ok, so I went for my annual physical last week. I told the doctor I get stomach pains in my lower abdomen. And I get a period once every 4 months. But he noticed my lower legs and feet were swollen. He said it was edema. I was like "huh?" So he tested me for kidney, liver and heart function. Ok so now I'm worried. I never had this. But tomorrow will be a week since my visit...so if there was anything serious they would call right? I googled lower leg edema and I got scared. I saw it has to do… read more

Does Anyone Experience A Great Deal Of Pain If They Walk Too Much?

I feel as if someone is stabbing me to death in my pelvic area with each step I take. I have been experiencing this for over a year and it's awful, I have to limit my walking distance even in my own home and sit down often.

Does Anyone Else Get Excruciating Pain In The Lower Area?

Does Anyone Else Get Excruciating Pain In The Lower Area?

Yesterday I went to the doctors about the pains I have in what I can only describe as my ovaries. I have had these pains for quite some time now and they come and go. A bit like period pains but without the period as I haven't had one since December. The doctor said that PCOS doesn't cause pain, but I disagree.. doctors know best tho right? Does anyone have this problem or is it something I should be worried about?

Yes, back in the day, it kinda worked for me, you must also have a good skin regimen. Drink lots of water and avoid salt. It also effects your potassium levels.

Pcos Vs Endometriosis? I Was Diagnosed With PCOS When I Was 16 Years Old, And Im Now 21.I Noticed Symptom Changes.

When I was 16-20 I had hair on my face, high testosterone, feeling down and droopy. Well over the past year, I have noticed blood crusts on my bellybutton during my periods, severe bloating around my lower stomach, pain so bad I don't want to move all in my inner thighs and stomach, I feel swollen on my privates. my hormone levels have actually been coming back normal and stable, but with a light or lack of periods still. Any thoughts? Diet changes happened, and I've lost 30-60 pounds, I drink… read more
