Need suggestions. Do you shock your system or start the diet slowly? Which is better?
Hi everyone! I'm struggling to lose weight after I gained 15lbs out of no where a few months ago. I know that a low carb, low glycemic diet works well but I try to stick to a plant based diet as much as I can (I'll have diary on occasion but haven't had meat in over 6 years). Does anyone has advice or experience with a similar situation?
Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS and I am a strict vegetarian. I am looking for a good PCOS vegetarian book that provides support on building a better diet as I have now found out it is essential I lose the weight. I found Patricia Karnowski's vegan recipe book but it is just full of recipes. Any help?

Whats the best PCOS diet for someone that does have the insulin resistance? One I can convert into a lifestyle.
Since I was 16 years the doctors told me that I had PCOS and I have still the normal symptoms: hirsurtism, acne, oil skin...but I follow a healthy diet and my weight is normal. Since July I have gingivitis and I was visiting different dentists, but finally I couldn't solve the problem. Do you know if there is a relation between the PCOS and the gum infections? Or maybe is it because I take the birth control pill as a treatment?
Thank you in advance!
I was just wondering before buying into this exercise program specifically designed for women with PCOS, if anyone has tried her work out program?
(not trying to promote, just want some more info before I join :) )

I was wondering if anyone else has tried the diet plan in the book The Natural Health Solutions for PCOS and Infertility? I purchased and downloaded the book over the weekend and feel pretty optimistic. First of all it does a great job of exploring the complexities of PCOS, and goes into the science behind what is going on in our bodies. I'm a bit of a book nerd so once it peaked my interest I had a hard time putting it down. I've started the eating… read more
