Insurance coverage

I recently was denied disability insurance coverage on my mortgage because of my PCOS

The insurance is supposed to cover my mortgage payments for 6 months in the event I cannot work, such as a car accident.

I am not sure how PCOS is relevant in the scheme of this .... does anyone else have any insight or experience with this?
