What Helps?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question 💭

I can't take metformin and my doc just has no clue. What can I do to help with the pain, horrendous mood swings, acne, and all the rest of the symptoms with pcos. I'm desperate to have something change I truly can't keep living like this. The mood swings are so bad for me and my depression is getting worse. I do really good with diet and exercise but I'm still struggling with my weight and getting it off and keeping it off.

So sorry about your moods and depression. If you aren't taking something for that maybe you could ask your doctor for something. Have you seen a nutritionist for trying to keep the weight off? Not to push more meds but there are medications for weight loss.

Spironolactone and see a naturopath. There are natual herbs that can be taken instead of met to help with insulin resistance and hormones.
