Recently Diagnosed
Hi Ladies. So I got diagnosed today. My doctor wasn't very helpful. I don't know what type of PCOS I have and wasn't aware that there were other types of PCOS. I do a lot of research into things and had questions to ask. But when I got in there today and he told me the news I froze. I still don't really understand this Insulin thing. I have excessive hair growth on my face. Does anyone have any tips for that? That is my main concern at the moment.
Yeah that’s true I heard that helps
Try saw palmetto to reduce androgens which causes hair growth and Inisitol D Chiro Myoisitol it helps with that too
I also have excessive hair growth on my face. I got laser hair removal which helped a lot and cut down on the hair growth. It was very expensive though. And I do still have hair growth it’s just a lot lighter. I think there is some meds that help but I’ve never tried them.
I am also new to all this and trying to figure it out. I feel like the insulin thing is confusing to me too. I’m hungry all the time, even after I just ate. It’s my hardest thing I’m dealing with.
You just described my day. I'd love to know an answer too...
