Best type of laser for chin hair and best weight loss treatment? I have tried a normal laser and it didnt work and i have tried contrave and it worked but once you get off you can have weight gain. I am taking metformin and that helps.

Don’t do laser! Or electrolysis! They both will stimulate terminal hairs (which are the thick dark ones we struggle with). I didn’t know this was possible until after I tried them both. The laser was done on my face and the technician went down under my chin/neck area where I never had issues before. Now, that area is my worst… tons of thick, black hairs that were never there before. Then I tried electrolysis on a different area (one side of cheek.. again, not one of my problem areas but she thought it would hurt the least for my first time) and again, that area is now really bad.
I looked more into it and with hormonal/androgenic/terminal (whatever you wanna call it) hair that is common in PCOS, they react differently. From what I’ve gathered, if you stick with electrolysis weekly (yes, weekly!) and do it for two years straight without interruption, you can achieve results. But still touch up yearly I believe. Had I known all this I never would’ve done it as I’m in a much worse state now than before trying those treatments.
Anyway, I just posted about my experience with a generic Vaniqa and it has been amazing. I didn’t think I could have no facial hair. But seeing as how I’ve rambled on this long, I’ll spare the details 😜
