I try to eat balanced meals though, with protein in every meal. I campaigned for a fruit bowl instead of a snack box at work and that made a big difference as I’m a stress-snacker, lol.

From the research I’ve done, low fat and low gi seems the better choice, although sometimes it can be challenging, especially when eating out/with other people. Personally I’m pescatarian and lactose free, as dairy and meat products make my symptoms much worse. Good luck - my advice would be to keep a food diary and write down what effects you have. It’ll really help you decide what’s best for your individual health 😊

Definitely a big fan of Yin yoga. Meditation and relaxation was key for my health improvements. I don't believe in low fat! Fat isn't evil especially with growing up seeing my mom on these crazy diets like the cabbage soup diet! I've maintained a similar weight so I suppose I cannot relate to the pressure to lose weight but just cutting back on sugar and processed food. I still eat sourdough bread every morning with butter and tahini. I recommend tahini to make your own sauces for stir fry. It's very nutritional. Learning to meal prep sort of helped me but I got tired of freezer meals and batch cooking. I just try to plan my meals a week in advance. Easier said than done

Massive improvement with my skin, but I still get bad breakouts around my period or when I’m super stressed. I meal prep too and pack my own work lunches, but it’s super tempting to have the occasional ’treat’. My usual approach is that if I know I’ll be tempted later in the day, I’m super strict in the morning, to try and lessen the damage. But reducing the amount of sugar I was having really helped with everything, including my anxiety, so I’m always careful about that.
