I refused birth control as I want to try and do it myself , learn and heal my symptoms myself, I just want to know how you know what type of pcos you have?
I have facial hair , weight gain problems , anxiety/mental health , fatigue and irregular periods , tiredness . Just wanting some information on what areas you think I should be paying attention to etc thank you cysters 🥰x
I have felt let down from doctors too. So have been doing a lot of my own research. But there’s so much out there it can be overwhelming. I am still trying to figure out what type pcos I have too and no doctor has actually ever told me either. But I have very similar symptoms to you x
Birth control can help, but it made my symptoms much worse. I’d recommend focusing on your dietary habits (low carb, dairy free, whatever works well for your body and your lifestyle). Apart from diet and trying to get enough sleep, tackling your stress levels can make a huge impact. As PCOS Cysters, we have a reduced tolerance for stress (as cortisol is another hormone to balance), so try to find something that works for you to relieve stress/tension.
