Hi!! Yes, I do sometimes. Majority of it for me is mental and environmental toll because I feel like no one around me believes I am in serious pain around my periods and ovulation. The fluctuation of weight and the fatigue AND especially the brain fog got me down. Body image is a hard one but we cant let PCOS drag us down!! (i know its harder done than said) but we got this!

100% struggle with this. I struggle with the world wanting me to be 4 stone lighter when I struggle to maintain my current weight. I struggle with the lumps and bumps and how anyone can find me sexy even though my partner tells me otherwise. I struggle finding clothes that actually make me feel good because of the roundness. I struggle to feel like a woman when I can't provide a child to be a mother. I tried for four years. Only got pregnant once and it was ectopic shredding the tube it was in and so now not only have PCOS but also one tube missing. Docs wont check the other tube because of my weight. So I feel like my body is against me in so many ways. I've suffered severe vitamin D deficiency that led to join degregations. This was my body not allowing me to run anymore, I tried to horse ride and ended up being unable to walk for months due to plantir faciitis issues, of course people blame the weight. Docs wouldn't help me with fertility issues due to my weight. I went to doc to ask what was wrong before being diagnosed as I couldn't loose weight like everyone else with healthy diet and running on treadmills and doing weights and was told just eat less move more. When I was diagnosed they were like oh well... still loose weight or we can't help you. I ended up with a dietician telling me weight loss surgery and milk diets were my best option to loose weight. Of course I didn't go down this route as I know 2 people that have almost died from complications on this surgery. I just feel my body fights me in every way it can. Then there is the brain fog that is there most of the time, the migraines, the joint pains. I refuse to rest as much as my partner wants me to on the basis I feel I'd have no life if I did rest all the time. I'm tired of my body being everything it shouldn't be. And yet when they run blood tests I'm fine. Blood pressure is fine. so it's just my body being my body. joint pains, weight issues, migraines, brain fog all of these just get me down repeatedly. I dont know what to do anymore. I manage as much as I can. The good thing is I have a partner that is very very very supportive and is constantly countering my negative thoughts. I have undergone years of therapy to help me view things differently. I still struggle, not as much as I did before but still often enough. You are not alone. Any of you if you suffer from the thoughts your body is against you. Or if you struggle with feeling lady like or feminine, or sexy. I'm learning to love my body more, but it's hard when there are people out there still insisting that it's easy just to be different.

You are absolutely not alone in these feelings. Many women with PCOS struggle with their sense of femininity and self-image, especially when dealing with symptoms like hirsutism (excess hair growth). Up to 70% of women with PCOS experience excess hair growth, and many share similar feelings about their self-confidence and body image.

The challenges of weight management and fertility concerns that you mentioned are also common experiences that can feel overwhelming. These feelings are valid and understood by many others in the PCOS community. Remember that you are more than your PCOS symptoms. Many women in the community have found strength in accepting themselves and focusing on self-care. As one member shared, "After years of feeling like I need to be better, stronger, healthier, and in control, I now know I am enough."

There are various treatment options and management strategies available for symptoms like excess hair, and working with healthcare providers can help develop a plan that addresses both your physical and emotional well-being. You don't have to face these challenges alone.
