How Do You Deal With The Guilt Regarding Diet?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question đź’

I was diagnosed a few years ago with PCOS and was prescribed BC and Metformin. I didn’t really focus on the diet aspect until recently. But now I feel guilty every time I want a treat. Even the thought of one bite of a chocolate bar has me riddled with guilt that I’m causing my PCOS. How do you combat the balance?

Does Birth Control Really Help?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question đź’

Does birth control really help regulate periods? I know that it helps regulate the shedding of your lining, but how can it help regulate your ovulation? I've always been confused about this as birth control stops ovulation. If it's not going to help me much I'd like to just get off the pill and try other methods. Any advice or insight would be helpful!!

Testosterone Levels?
A myPCOSteam Member asked a question đź’

I just had my bloodwork done and my total testosterone level was flagged high at 65. But when I start going down the Google rabbit hole, it says that under 80 is normal. Does 65 confirm a PCOS diagnosis?? I'm confused ;)

I would love to know the answer of this too. I had the exact same problem when I was diagnosed. I didn’t understand why they said it was high when it was in the “normal” range.
